Bren sighs as he pulls up a chair for Andrews (it is a small wooden chair)

"I don't know, but I'm trying somthing, I'm giving these people hope, but even that is starting to fail for me"

MAria who is watching looks upset, and so does Eliz

"To be honest I don't if this place will hold when he Crusade makes it here...." He says sadly

Bren pulls out a wamr nuka cola and drinks it to calm his nerves

Theo looked up towards the ridge, walking away from the dead scouts. Fucking EMAA troopers, thinking they can fight airborne. Theo motioned for the Captain to walk over. "I haven't seen any activity up there in awhile. Permission to set up camp? No way in hell are we going to be back before sun down, and I don't feel like getting ambushed. "Granted, Theo. Seize the ridge; we'll follow you once it's clear." Captain Cobb said.

Run4urLife!20:39, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Jacob watched through binoculars from the top floor of the allied Field Command, as Bren was now calling it. The Crusade had just eliminated a force of Wastelanders thet outnumbered them by a considerable margin. But that was what you got when you tried to kill gunmen with pool cues.

They had all heard the gunfire earlier, and a small group of EMAA scouts volunteered to check on the situation. They hadn't come back. Jacob winced as he saw the Crusaders Leader execute one of them. He knew those fools had tried to attack the Crusade. It was their own fault. That was why they were losing the war in New York. Always thought they knew best.

"Yes, there was a battle, not too far from the Super Duper Mart. You can see whats left of it from here. Its just up past the bridge over the Potomac." Jacob said, offering the binoculars to the other gathered officers. "Wastelanders had the numbers, but they only had crude melee weapons for the most part. That and a few rusty old hunting rifles and .32 pistols. Didn't stand a chance against professionals like the Crusade. Your scouts got killed too. Tried to get a handle on some of the action, by the looks of it."

Vegas adict20:44, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"idiots anyway i thought EMAA doctrine was only go in when you had higher numbers" andrew planted a data chart on the table."this shows the crusade forces in the area as you can see they are concentrated around juruselum and a camp out in the wastes i sugest an ambush but i would welcome segestions."

Brengarrett20:48, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"What shall my team do, would oyu like some back up?" Bren asks

KuHB1aM20:55, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Theo walked up the rocky hill, his armor clanging. Holding his G36C in one hand, Theo put one hand on a rock as he pushed himself up, the extreme weight of the armor tiring his back. As soon as Theo had hlaf of his body up above the rock face, however, he came in contact with someone in power armor; an EMAA soldier. "Hold it right there, you fucking crusader." The man said, his pistol wavering nervously. Theo played it off cooly. "Hold on a second, bro. I'm not a crusader." Theo said. "Don't lie to me! I know that armor anywhere!" The man snarled. Theo waited. "I'm honest. Not a crusader. I'm an airborne." Theo ducked as the man fired. Theo then popped up again, firing a burst into the man's chest. The man fell over, reaching for his radio. "We can't have that, can we?" Theo said, shooting both radio and hand. Theo pulled himself up while his men joined him, and then radioed Captain Cobb. "Cap'n, there's an enemy prescence up on the ridge. Orders?" Theo said. "Hold up for now; dig in. The rest of the company will join you." Cobb said over the radio. Theo turned off his radio, and proceeded to pull out his field shovel.

Run4urLife!21:05, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"Stay here Bren, they're digging their heels in on the ridge. If it weren't for the high ground, this'd be a perfect time to launch an attack. We'll stay here till they're down for the night. These guys are so used to the noise of battle it doesn't even wake them. Get me a DSK rifle and I'll see how many I can pick off during the night." Jacob said. Now was one of those times he realised he should have brought the Saiga-12 and the M72 Gauss Rifle.

He sat down in a chair, and took a look at Bren's map of the area. This was good stuff. Probably made by Reilly's Rangers, based off a copied Pre War Map. This poster-sized sheet of paper was probably worth a mint these days.

He looked across the room at Maria. Raider bitch. It made his blood boil just being in the same room as her. Or did it? He only seemed to get angry when he looked at her. Maybe his common-sense (thats a pun on spidey-sense) was failing him. Or maybe he wanted to believe Bren when he said Maria over there had reformed. Jacob hoped it was the latter. The former would require months of reconditioning and travel without human contact to cure.

Brengarrett21:08, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"Ok Jacob, be careful, so need some back up or do you want to have the fun all to yourself" Bren asks jokingly

Jack was waking up. He was knocked out by something, he didn't remember. He looked behind him as he saw the dead crusaders that were chasing him. He slowly got up and looked around. He decided that it would be better if headed back and helped out Bren.

Vegas adict21:16, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

andrew tossed a Modified AM 32 sniper rifle with night scope to jacob "use that, its a good gun.But im going to take a LVBOS scout squad with me and well try to pick of some crusaders with our A23 laser snipers.Good with you" andrew tightened the bolts on his left left arm "stupid thing"

It was quiet. Theo was sitting in his foxhole, a small fire lit. He knew it was an impossibly bad idea to light a fire and mark their position, but he couldn't really give a damn. As far as he was concerned, each foxhole had standing orders to have one of each three airborne men inside to be awake. About a 1/4 of the airborne company was awake anyway. Theo leaned against the dirt, cradling his G36C and a bottle of whiskey. Theo downed the liquid, and removed his helmet. It was soo damn hot out here. Grabbing Lassiter's sniper rifle, Theo pushed himself up to the top of foxhole slope, and looked over. In front of him, nothing but a wide open field and some rocks. Theo dropped himself back down, and resorted back to waiting.

The VTOL rumbled as it touched down inside the Field HQ in the middle of the night. Satisfied he had recovered from his recent ordeal with Jackal, Captain Thomas stepped off from the whirlybird, and to the salute of Captain John. Thomas returned the salute. He had just been assigned to a temporary term of duty down in D.C. to take command of the forces dealing with a civilian populace riot aided by enemy factions. Ungrateful pigs. He'd show them just how much fire power the Crusade really had.

that's right, Run. eat it

Run4urLife!21:22, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// As I said, thats special occasion wear, and it ain't no ones birthday. It'll come into play later, but for now, Jacob's enough of a whirlwind by himself

"I'll need a spotter. Someone who knows how to use UV binoculars. IR won't be any use if they light the vodka they were dumping on those bodies (yes, his Pre-War binoculars are that good that he could see them pouring vodka on the bodies. Why vodka? Because there's no petrol left in the world, and vodka ain't good for much else)." Jacob said. He knew Dejan didn't know how to use UV binoculars, he'd seen his get half blinded when he looked out the window with them in that raider town on the way to California. That and a fool like Dejan would be a terrible spotter.

He looked at the ridge on the map, and looked at the surrounding ruins. Mapped out like a tourist's street map, it even marked out stable and unstable ruins. There was one particularly inviting building on the near side of the Super Duper Mart, but he and his spotter would need to be very quiet to get up without being spotted. Maybe a spotter wasn't such a good idea.

Right. Getting that M72 rifle from the Drop Point in Marigold Station. Lets see you flyboys eat a 2mm HEI bullet moving at hypersonic velocity!

//-- Teh Krush21:32, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// Does all your guns have to be a "Modified (INSERT-LETTER/NUMBER HERE) (ENERGY WEAPON TYPE HERE) Rifle"?

Solbur21:34, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// Going a bit over the top with an internal monologue here, so bear with me.

Strauss was outside the Field Command building in Greyditch, seated comfortably in a ruined armchair he'd borrowed from an abandoned house across the street, counting out his ammunition on a small table. He'd been following the people from the Super Duper Mart, those "Claw" guys for some time, and although he didn't recieve an answer for his initial question (indeed, his own arrival was somewhat overshadowed by the arrival of that psycho in the black coat and Combat Armor), they didn't seem to mind his presence, so he wagered that they certainly wouldn't mind his help against the Crusade. Right, so he had seventeen cells for his Laser Rifle, and with a thirty-blast capacity per cell that equated to five-hundred and ten shots. He estimated it would take about three shots to take down a Combat Armored soldier, five or six for a Power Armor unit if he aimed right, and assuming the force was mostly Airborne (or whatever their Power Armor dudes were called) would allow him to take down about one hundred or so soldiers if he managed to stay alive through the whole excursion, approximate misses included, at which point he would switch to his hammer and--

"Would you like a drink, Master?" Worthington chimed in as he hovered by his side, interrupting his intense calculations. "Uh... yes, please. Thank you, Worth." He said, holding up a glass pitcher, which was promptly filled with fresh water from the modified robot's condensation collector. He took a grateful swig from it, and sighed for a moment as he peered down at the collection of power cells on the table. Was he really that sad, estimating his body count? There wasn't much point to it. There was no way he was taking out a hundred troops anyway; that was just unreal. The fight would mainly be based on luck, he thought - and fortunately, from his own observations over the years, he had that in spades.

He planted the pitcher on the table and started carefully putting the various cells back in his bag, picking up his helmet with one hand and holding it under his arm while taking hold of the pitcher again in the other, before standing up and walking into the Field Command building and quietly listening in to the tactical discussions.

Run4urLife!21:42, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// Psycho. I resent that. I kill you!

"No, you won't. You should take your men across the river, and up onto whats left of the bridge (the one you can see the SDM from, none of the big ones). We can hit the Crusaders from two sides, and avoid the risk of a crossfire." Jacob said. Andrews seemed to understand. Finally! A rational Midlander!

Jacob and Michael took off wordlessly. Michael waited outside Marigold Station, because the ants gave him the creeps, while Jacob scrambled into one of the battered carriages to retrieve his scoped M72 Gauss Rifle. According to the man he took it from, even Frank Horrigan couldn't have taken much punishment from this thing. And that was before Jacob set up a second Gauss coil in it.

Within minutes, they were silently picking the back door to the old building they were supposed to be occupying. Strange, the Crusade hadn't even scouted it. Then Jacob saw why, a sleeping Deathclaw Queen, lying there in the middle of the floor, her tail wrapped around a clutch of eggs. She was probably the only one left in the Capital Wasteland, and she was majestic (do not kill her. Otherwise, we'll start to run out of Deathclaws in DC). He led Michael around the room, so as not to wake her, and up the ricketty stairs to the roof, where they set up a small camp, with M72 and UV binocs set up on bipods, and both men lying prone on the roof. Like grenading fish in a barrel.

Vegas adict21:47, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// not midlander,LVBOS but good point. There not all energy weapons and in a post apocalyptic world what is still un modded

Andrew led his men round the crusade camp until they reached a small 2 story shack. They climbed up and rested there snipers and laser rifles on the windows "jacob im in posistion should my men start sniping?"

Brengarrett21:50, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren is making charts in another room with Eliz and Maria, these charts would help with planning and such

"Damn it, I can't get this right, what secotor are we?" Bren says out loud obvisally frustrated, the lack of sleep is showing

Run4urLife!22:02, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"No, God no! Wait till those clouds cover the moon. That shack leaves you wide open to attack if you're spotted. Why aren't you on the bridge like I suggested, out of curiosity?" Jacob said. He wasn't frustrated, just confused as to why the LVBoS would pick a shack not four hundred yards from the Crusade's flank. That was well within the range of those G36C's, not to mention those snipers.

Jacob stared through his scope at the camp, and saw a shot he wouldn't believe. Crusade Captain Frederick Thomas. He was limping. Odd, but it would be a brilliant chance to tear the throat out of the foe. But Jacob knew that Thomas would be worth more alive. A better plan would be to kill his subordinates, and force Thomas onto the frontlines. With that limp, even Lincoln would have a decent chance of taking him in a melee. Well, not really, the Ghoul could barely grasp the concept of "pointy end of knife goes in the other guy".

Jacob started scanning for ranking soldiers. It would be another twenty minutes at least until they had enough cloud cover to set up a crossfire, and he wanted the LVBoS firing before him, otherwise the camp would be mobilizing by the time they could start shooting. And that, as a wise man once said, would be very, very bad.

Brengarrett22:06, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren lookd outside and he saw the shimmer of what looks like an outline of some

"Damn it, steath boys" Bren tghinks as he fires a shot taking out the man, but then 2 more begin firing and thanks to the night Bren can barely see the men

Jack was walking towards what he thought was the wastelanders base. He was with in fifty feet of it, when he noticed gun shots shooting at something. He then noticed the blood flying out of thin air. Stealth boys, well might as well help out the cause. As he fired two shots, taking one's head off, and the other hitting his torso. Jack was walking towards wher he thought was t

Brengarrett22:21, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren looks out the window and see's jack

"Glad to see you, so took them out huh, be down in a sec" Bren says to JAck and after a quick run he walks outside

"So hows everything look, did the plan work?" Bren asks

Run4urLife!22:22, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// Crusaders in Stealthboys? Sucks to be Bren right now!

Jacob heard firing back at the main camp. Something was wrong. But he couldn't leave his post, not after all that risk the LVBoS went through to get to their shack. Then, as if in karmic balance to the shots at Greyditch, the wind gusted, and clouds hid the moon.
Andrews heard the order to open fire loud and clear. a pair of Crusaders went down as they patrolled the perimeter of the camp.

He saw through his scope, that Jacob had just opened up with a volley on the far end of the camp. Ten men dead already between the two groups. The Crusade camp erupted into action, with men jumping into the trenches, and returning fire at the shack and the factory roof.

"Pull back to Greyditch. Cross back over the river, they're on to you!" Andrew didn't need the warning, he was watching a group of airborne alternate two teams, one firing as the other advanced, and vice versa.

"GO! Go! GO!" Andrews shouted at his men. They rushed out of the shack, and straight towards the river. They all leaped in, and started the agonizing swim. Swimming in power armor would tire them out, but it would tire the Crusaders too. And with their headstart, the Vegas Brothers had a good chance of escaping, and coming back to Greyditch via Arlington Memorial Bridge.
Jacob and Michael moved quietly around the sleeping Deathclaw Queen again. They were both shuddering at the noise outside, but the slumbering leviathan didn't even grunt.

Back at camp, they saw shimmers moving in the lamp light, with soldiers shooting ineffectively at them. Jacob put one down with a careful Gauss Rifle shot, while Michale nailed one with his silenced assault rifle, using the UV binocs as a scope, as it picked out the cloaked men as silhouettes. This ambush just became a battle, as the Stealthboys started to wear off.

Brengarrett22:24, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren looked as 2 more bodys fell tot he ground

"Damn we missed 2, but then who?" Bren looks around and sees Jacob and Micheal

--Cerebral plague 22:29, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Nope, only 40 came, i probably misheard the information. Anyway, here I got a crusade radio, it's picking up the signals they send out. So I killed 40 at the trap, I killed at least 3 search parties with ten men each. The mini nuke I planted in the road killed the Crusade chasing me. So that brings me up to 120 kills, 80 of which with out me even firing a shot. Well, how's thing's going for you Bren? And those damn stealth soldiers are annoying, let me get those for you. He tosses a grenade, as it explodes before the stealth solders can take cover, painting their surroundings red with blood.

Brengarrett22:31, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren then fires at the last 5 who had their cover blown from the blood

"Well glad to see you been busy, me I been charting plans and figuring out the best to win, but unforently it is bide our time and ambush them" Bren says annoyed

--Cerebral plague 22:33, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Heh, well good look with that. Well, what do you want me to do?

Run4urLife!22:34, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Jacob walked towards the command building, noting the prescence of a newcomer. The man moved like an assassin. Not the bullish swagger of a Talon Co assassin, but the easy movements of a proficient killer. The poor man's Warrior Weapon.

"We had to call off the sniping, Captain Thomas is there (promote him to Major! Major Tom! HAHA). They cottonned on quicker than I thought they would. LVBoS didn't suffer any losses, but they'll be about fifteen minutes getting back." Jacob said to Bren, before giving the newcomer a questioning look.

The man just nodded. Just like Jacob would have. Jacob couldn't help but smile at that. It was like having a little brother.

Brengarrett22:39, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"Personaly I would preer to negoate a Treaty but I doubt that is viable, SNiping is out of the Question, and in this night Infiltration is a bad choice as well, unless Jacob does it....damn it we need a plan: Bren says as his stress grew from lack of sleep

--Cerebral plague 22:48, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Well Bren, I suggest you get some sleep. First of all, your tired and we don't need you running around making hasty decisions. Second, the treaty sounds like a good idea, although the Crusade are the guys who kill mutants and ghouls for kicks, so I really don't think it'll work.

Brengarrett22:51, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"No, I will go see them for the Treaty Tonight, I need a somthing to signify a Ceasefire, even raiders know the temrs of Treaty and these people are above Riaders, err no offense Maria" Bren says

Maria: None taken Bren

Run4urLife!22:54, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// Going offline

Jacob nodded in agreement. He had barely managed to convince Bren not to go gung-ho on the Crusade camp with four people at his back. He volunteered for first watch with the sentries, and strode over to a burned-out house, leaning against the wall as he reached it, his M72's bipod mounted on a protruding piece of rubble. He was so still, Maria thought he might start to change colour to blend in with the wall.

One of the EMAA soldiers walked past without noticing him until he leaned on the wall next to him. The poor soul got the shock of his life.

//-- Teh Krush23:03, 23 March 2009 (UTC)// I'll take control of Jacob for now then, since Micheal is with him the whole time. Will post later.

--Cerebral plague 23:07, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Jack was inside, assembling his heavily modified Lincolns Repeater. To think that if he started with a sniper rifle he probably could of took off a year of customizing it. First of all, it fired off .50 rounds, which were probably rarer then mini nukes as he had to make them himself most of the time. It had a longer barrel, and included a scope which he took off a sniper rifle and reduced the zoom on it slightly. It also was one of the stronger guns in the wasteland. He walked out the door with it in hands, and his Chinese assault rifle strung on his back. He was going to meet up with an old friend.

KuHB1aM23:41, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

"We're being fucking hit from two sides!" Theo yelled, and moved to wake up the other airborne around his foxholes. "Lassiter, get the hell up! We're under attack, you drunk!" Theo yelled at Lassiter. Even if it was just a few guys in power armor, Theo's adrenaline took priority over his bitter humor. Lassiter drowsily pulled on his helmet, and loaded his sniper rifle. To the left of them, LVBoS soldiers had moved through the river, killing the lone sentry near the area, and in front of them, wastelanders, less of a threat, were coming at them in massive waves armed with nothing but their fists. Theo loaded his G36C, aimed his rifle, and fired, it's rounds hitting the first wave of smellies, their putrud clothing exploding in blood.

Captain Thomas flogged John. "You fucking idiot. For once, at any poiint, you didn't think that maybe it was a spy who messed up our documents?" John raised an eyebrow. "Nope." John replied. Thomas flogged him again. "Faliure." Thomas said. He strode towards the war table inside the tent. Near him, a Dignitary operating a radio motioned for him. "Some guy named Bren wants to negotiate. You want me to wire tap the line and record?" The junior officer asked. "No. It's fine. I've dealed with Bren before. He's an idiot. Don't worry; I can handle myself." lol srry i called u an idiot

Twentyfists02:28, 24 March 2009 (UTC)// Enter Silas Webb, the waster soul-searching ranger!

Silas really hated DC. Even at night, it was always hot, and everything was the same mixture of brown and gray. Worse, almost every faction under the sun wanted to control it, probably due to its immense significance in natural history. Frankly, Silas thought they were all fools, but the area was populated and popular, so it was as good a place as any.

He had asked around about Bren, although he had gotten different answers. Some of the Wasters he had talked to treated his name with reverence, while others treated it with equal amounts of disgust. However, neither group knew where they were, which was odd, considering all the trouble Bren got himself into. Silas got lucky, though. During his travels around DC, he found a Crusade camp. That was disconcerting and rather disturbing. They usually didn't come that far south. However, this gave him a starting point. Wherever the Crusade was, especially in places they didn't belong, Bren would be there too, putting up some desperate and foolhardy fight with the oddest characters Silas would ever meet.

Silas found the place. It was easily identified by a tattered flag bearing a resemblance to a symbol Bren showed him in New York, and by the bodies strewn about outside. He got to the building after clearing his identity multiple times past outrageously varied groups of individuals, ranging from ragtag Brotherhood fighters with strange accents to Raiders, even Super Mutants.

Silas wasted no time. He flung open the doors and stepped inside. "Boy," he yelled, "what in hell have you got yerself into now?"

Brengarrett14:14, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Thomas: So you want to start a negation, what are your terms for the location of this

Bren: I would like an open area where both sides can see, so no one will be ambushed or attacked, we will also be allowed 3 people to join us incase one side decides to take out the other

There is a pause on the other side

Thomas: Agreed, so how about outside of Greyditch, my side can see outside of your fortifacation, and you can see us as well

Bren: I can agree to that, tommorow morning at 1100 hours

Thomas: Very well then, I will see you there

The line ends

Bren: Well I better get some sleep,. the people I want following me will be Jacob, Dejan, and Eliz

Bren walks to the toher room where his bed is and shuts the door

(and so I wait for Thomas's reply when it is time for negoations, of course this won't be easy for Bren, btw is this Fredrick Tohomas, because if it is, then I won't kill him, Jackel has that honor, and I don't want to piss off another Rper)

no you can't kill him bren, it's fred. cerebral, no crusade soldier would ever allow themselves to ask a wastelander for directions, and would shoot on sight. they're not assholes. they're cocky, arrogant assholes. try a different ploy

Thomas turned off the radio. "I want the area around Greyditch sealed off from all enemy and friendly forces. Knowing Bren, he's not too much of an asshole to go in there without cover. Seal it off; right now, actually. No one in and no gets out." Thomas said. Captain John motioned for another soldier to get to work, and returned after several minutes. "Done. We've already got our men around that place. Bren had snipers all over. We neutralized them with the airborne; no killing; we just sent them towards Megaton." John said. Thomas nodded, and walked out of the tent, his overcoat swirling.

Theo loaded his G36C again, cocking the rifle and firing again. The rounds intercepted with the nearest wastelander, smashing into his body and sending him sprawling. "Fucking smelly!" Lassiter yelled, wiping off the blood of a waster who had gotten too close. Theo pushed the body out of the foxhole, using it for an extra block of cover.Theo couldn't believe his eyes. The wasters were charging airborne, and they thought they could actually win. Theo smiled, and resumed firing.

Jacob thought he heard Andrews order his men to go out and come back via Falls Church. It was a BoS territory, anyway. Unless the mutants had managed to work their way back in. Again. Stupid Brotherhood, the Lone Wanderer had told them the Mutants were coming from that irradiated Vault out west. Why hadn't the just let that damned robot Liberty Prime, loose on them?

"jacob how long do we have until they get us honestly?"

KuHB1aM22:18, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Run, maybe the BoS should loose the robot on another more suitable target... hint hint (take control of the BoS, Run)

Captain Thomas sat inside his command tent, pondering his decision. The negotitation was of course a ruse, but the enemy didn't know wthat. In fact, Thomas didn't even plan on going. He was more intent at playing chess with his resident Mr. Handy, Churchill. "Check mate, Captain!" Churchill exclaimed. Thomas flipped the chess board. Dammit. That was the fifth time this week he had lost. The last time was when he played his de facto father figure, the Field Marshal, during a leave of abscence. Thomas strode out of the tent. He was so bored. "John! Thomas roared. The other captain came scurrying. "Yes sir?" John said. "I want the airborne on the ridge south of here to break out, but to wait once they've been relieved." Thomas said. "Who will be relieveing them, sir?" John said. Thomas loked at him. "I think I will, Captain. Well, me and a couple hundred airborne to finish off the enemy of course." Thomas said.

Theo was crazy tired. Even as an airborne, he had his limits. He wasn't a god or something; just a soldier. Next to him, Lassiter was sitting, sipping a bottle of beer, while the bodies of dead wasters were lying next to him, their hollow eyes staring blankly. "You gonna get rid of those things?" Theo asked. Lassiter smiled behind his helmet. "I wasn't planning on it."

Run4urLife!22:29, 24 March 2009 (UTC)// With his pathfinding? Liberty Prime'd probably just lob a nuke at a passing Enclave Vertibird and blow up the Citadel when he missed.

"They already have us. We're in the jaws of the beast. All Thomas need do now is command them to close." Jacob said. If things went from bad to worse, he could always break out through the Marigold-Falls Church Metro system. In the confines of the tunnels, Jacob could take on three-figure-numbers of Crusaders. In theory at least.

He wanted to walk right into that camp and kill Thomas right now. He could fully understand why that Jackal fella had hated Thomas so much (seriously, promote him to Major. I want to taunt him by calling him Major Tom). The only way they could get out of this was if they managed to tame some form of Winged Deathclaw. And that was as likely as a meteor strike.

KuHB1aM22:37, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

lol he's not getting promoted

Theo and his company were relieved the next day by the remaining airborne in the region. Led by Captin Thomas, they had all but obliterated the enemy waster forces in the Captial Wasteland, and their enemies had been reduced to what was left of the Waster Army, a few hundred EMAA troops, and the ragtag band of heroes inside the Super Duper Mart (or Greyditch, I dont know, confusin). Thomas was enraged at the thought that the populace had actually started a rebellion. Their defeat at the enemy's home base would be crushing if the airborne could catch them all in one place. It would establish Crusade supremacy and cause terror at the thought of even raising arms against the undisputed rulers of Western D.C. Of course, then there was the matter of south-east D.C. Those pesky BoS soldiers wouldn't last long, though, even with their giant fucking robot.

Brengarrett22:42, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

the Next day Bren was waiting outside of rey ditch, he had set up a table with some some chairs, so they can draw a traeaty, behind him were Eliz, and Andrew. Jacob had disappeared sometime during the night.

"Well time to do this, it is almost 11:10, they are a bit late" Bren said waiting, he ws holding his rifle cleaning it to pass the time

--Cerebral plague 22:45, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Jack was walking back to the makeshift camp. There was more crusaders then before, and with the others carrying the weapons, he had to fight them off by himself. Soon he arrived at camp, and was passing off the guns like if someone got candy from a pinata. They could probably force an exit now, going to a city or large town giving us the advantage. He was hoping that they could make a return trip with waste landers to pick up the leather and combat armor at the house he had raided. The guys with him were trained to fight, not carry luggage.

Run4urLife!22:49, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Jacob was sprinting now. He had ducked out during the night, and had made good time getting back to his Safehouse. How could he have forgotten the MR-5? It wasn't a patch on Sam's armor from Fairfax, but it could make just enough difference to turn the tide.

It was carrying him along in massive enhanced strides, eating up the ground between himself and Falls Church. He'd love to see the look on the Crusader's faces as another suit of Oucast super-armor started making them wear their asses like hats. Jacob wasn't sure if that would be fatal for the pricks, but there was only one way to find out. There it was, the entrance to Falls Church metro. Less than an hour and a half, and he'd be lumbering out of Marigold station.

Right in time for Thomas and Bren's "negotiations". Jacob knew, not just a niggling feeling, he knew that Thomas had some jackass plan to decapitate DC's little rebellion.

Brengarrett22:56, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

(so now IWwait for Thomas to make the Scene also it is Dejan, Eliz, and Andrew with Bren)

Fniff1 23:20, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

"Bren, Are you sure this is a good idea? This might be an ambush easily." Dejan said.

Brengarrett23:24, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

"I know thye will, because they are ruithless, besides we got Snipers on them, so if they try to ambush us, they will be for a surprise, they are taking hits as well" Bren says " So they will most likly want this to tend as well"

Fniff1 23:27, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

"I think they would be well prepared for that surprise too....Maybe a feral human would scare them off.." He looked at Eliz.

Brengarrett23:29, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

"Thats why she is here, and it would seem that they are pretty late, it is 11:30" Bren says annoyed

Fniff1 23:34, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

"If you ask me, I think I would be suspious." Dejan said.

Brengarrett23:36, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

"True, but they will come, I read some of their codes, they have a thing about this, they give the enemy a chance of sourender, besides in this day and age it is better to win by words then lose all resources" Bren says

Fniff1 23:38, 24 March 2009 (UTC) "You know,Words is dirt compared to firepower." Dejan said.

Brengarrett23:42, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
(Well Ku, isn't here so lets wait for him to come)
Run4urLife!23:49, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Jacob pounded up the steps of Marigold station. He had run into more of that mad scientist's ants down there, but the MR-5's targeting systems allowed him to wipe them out without breaking stride. He carried on at full speed to the meeting area.

"Bren, they're late. Something's wrong. They'd have attacked by now unless they have a serious trick up their armored sleeves." Jacob said as he stopped alongside Bren and the others. Then he realized there were three of them already there. He heade back to the main camp to avoid giving the Crusade a reason to pound them with artillery.

KuHB1aM20:46, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Thomas briefed Theo and his platoon. "Their expecting a negotiation inside out in the field by Greyditch. You will act as support and guards for me. We were going for the ambush, but we're actually going to try this peacefully. They had snipers; Captain Cobb, your commander, already took care of them. We're on even terms, although I could just blow up the base and be done with this. Of course, the objective is to save a few artillery shells for the bastards up in New York. Theo, you will act as my personal guard. You airborne; I expect nothing less of you than sheer perfection should we come to combat." Thomas said. Theo nodded, and grabbed his G36C from the wall shelve, following Thomas out of the room.

The trip was relatively uneventful, with random encounters of skirmishes, usually crusade scouts shooting down a couple wasters attempting to gain some tech. Thomas apporached the security cordon, where the crusade blockade had encircled the main waster base. The man let Thomas and his men through, and they continued on their mery way to the front lines, where crusade soldiers were actively engaging the wastelanders. Thomas raidoed in to Bren, and the firing immediatly stopped, with both sides meeting dangerously in the middle of No Man's Land. Bren moved to shake his hand, but Thomas motioned for him to stop. "No closer, Bren. I won't have any of that chivalry crap. We are the Crusade; however, honor is all but non-existant here. State your terms, and then I'll edit them. Step any closer, and I'll take both you and your buddy's heads off." Bren stopped him. "We were supposed to meet inside the building." Bren said. "Not in a million years. Did you think I would allow myself to be put behind enemy lines? State your terms. I'll correct them as we go."

Twentyfists01:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)// The Crusade have artillery?! I thought the AWA were the only ones!

Silas chuckled quietly to himself. Those Crusade assholes always thought they were so smart. They thought they had been so clever, taking out the Claws' snipers. Of course, they didn't take out all the snipers, or Silas wouldn't be here. They had the numbers, and they were admittedly tougher than your average power armored psycho, but they spent too much time thinking with their hearts and balls, rather than their brains. Of course, they weren't the only ones who seemed to lack brain function.

Silas thought over Bren's plan. It was not a good one. Why would he bother trying to make a truce with the Crusade? The Claws had nothing that the Crusade couldn't just take by force. Silas' plan would have been so much better, but he wasn't the one in charge.

Silas snapped his mind back to the task at hand. He crouched low against the brown soil and pulled his hat low. He blended in with the dirty ground almost perfectly. Silas drew the gun he had picked up from those Vegas boys. They were bungling and pathetic, but they had some kickass weaponry. Silas looked over his .50 caliber sniper. Let's see a Crusader survive this shot. Silas looked through the scope. Yep, he could see Bren, his group, and those Crusader gorillas. Now, to sit back and wait.

Bren mnotions Thomas to sit down and he does but he has an eye on Bren

"so you are Fredrick Thomas, I heard about you, from a Ghoul friend named Jackal, nice guy, better then most humans these days " Bren says in an almost mocking attitude "Now for the negoation, you will leave the DC area alone, and in echange for this, we don't lose soliders, I know you have lost soliders as I have lost Wastelanders" Bren says being a tad upset at the loss and he pulls out 2 nukacolas

"Want one?" Bren asks " They don't have posion or anything if thats what you're thinking" He adds smiling, and it Throws Thomas off guard

(Yep Bren is one odd person, but it shows how Bren's Ideals and Fredricks differ, besides the Claws have something the Crusade Wants)

Vegas adict16:47, 25 March 2009 (UTC) what do they have?

Brengarrett17:10, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

"Right now they don't have anyone commanding them, so the LVBoS should be getting ready to take on the camp around Greyditch, I just need to Stall him long enough to beat him" Bren thinks (thats the plan, don't think Bren doesn't have bright ideas)

KuHB1aM20:25, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Thomas sat down on the chair. "You really want to know our purpose here? Resources? We have more than you will see in five life times for just a single soldier. No. We attacked for two reasons. The foremost being that you," Thomas pointed at Bren, "have aided ghoul sympathizers. In the Crusade controlled Western D.C. outskirts, this is unacceptable. We thought a show of force and the deaths of thousands of wasters would serve to make an example. Quite frankly, we think it worked." Thomas handed the Nuka-Cola to Theo, who inspected it, counted to three, and threw it, drawing his pistol and firing at it. The bottle exploded, and the contents fell back to earth, burning and searing anything it touched. "I'm smarter than you think, Bren. Much smarter. If you value the lives of your compadres, here," Thomas said, looking towards Connor, the Claws, Jacob, and the others, "the wasters will immediatly lay down their arms. I have no doubt that you and everyone in this room, fighting together, could kill me and my few men; more specifically, just Jacob and Andrew. However, they will not be able to fight their way out of the blockade. Neither will the wasters fighting to protect your base." Thomas said, stretching, and stood up, motiong for Bren to follow him at a distance. "Look at them, Bren." Thomas said, staring at the wastelanders. "Do they share your resolve? Do they have the means to combat an entire brigade of well-equiped, well-trained, expierienced professionals?" Thomas asked Bren, who was obviously feeling guilt, and refused to look at the wasters. "Look at them!!!" Thomas said angrily. "Do you think wasting the lives of these people will earn you a place in history? Another chance to fight Virgil, or destroy what you hate the most? Maybe even save Maria?!" Thomas roared again. Bren still looked away. "No, Bren... You will not earn any of those things. No. You will instead earn the title of the man who lead all these souls to a worthless death." Thomas said.

Brengarrett20:52, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
(good speech, bravo)

Bren just smiles as he finishes the bottle of nuka cola "Not polite to waste a good drink Tommy" Bren says mocking him

"As for us being friend with Ghouls, look at it like this, they are better then you, unlike humans they can surive radation, they have numbers, and they have the minds of a human" Bren says seriously "They are far better then us Scum that are called Humans"

Bren looks at Fred and then continues

"I'm leading these people to fight for their ideals, it is better then to lay back and let you kill us, so I havea deal for you, take me, leave this area, and we won't rise up against you" Bren says

"So is it a deal, or do I have to activate the rigged mini nuke in my pack and take me and you away to the after life" Bren says (he is bluffing but he sounds serious, and afte rFredrick gives his answer the LVBoS should be ready to attack) 21:36, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

"I was being sarcastic about the resources you thick f*ck. If I was in charge,You be food for the ferals but since Bren is in charge I will obey his commands. War negotiations, I don't care for that. I just want to play skip rope with your spine if you slip up once,Which I know you will." Eliz said.

Run4urLife!21:48, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Jacob stood, silent like some statue in his MR-5 Armor. He could break out through the blockade. It wasn't like he hadn't run a Crusade picket line before. And he didn't even have the Outcast's super-suit on back then. And Bren thought the LVBoS could get them out of this. Still so naive. Probably thinks he can kill me too. Jacob thought to himself. He chuckled inside his helmet at the thought. It wasn't arrogance, just common knowledge.

And Eliz, the filter between thought and speech was apparently non-existent for her. She should know better than to talk trash to Thomas like that. Jacob felt like he would applaud Thomas if he shot her in the head with his Paulsen right now. Bren really should have put her on a leash and muzzled her. Dejan was just standing there. Then Jacob noticed his pose. The little shitpiece was immitating him! Jacob looked at the Crusaders. Calm, collected, and more importantly, heavily armed. If Bren and Andrew did go through with their scatterbrained plot to attack, Jacob would be the only one to get out of the killing zone they were standing in. Stupid, stupid boy! Jacob thought, referring to Bren.

"Eliz, take the insults down a gear. They will kill you. And I for one, won't try to stop them, so do try not to act the brat, ok." Jacob said. She was getting furious. He was treating her like a child. Not like she deserves any more respect. Jacob thought.

Fniff1 21:59, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

"Sigh..Oh Jacob. You think your indestructible, But death can come in the simplest forms. You just wait and see." Dejan tried his best to sound like Jacob. He did it pretty well.

//-- Teh Krush22:11, 25 March 2009 (UTC)// He IS indestructible, :D
Run4urLife!22:17, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

"Death comes for us all. What matters is how we choose to meet it. Whether we face it on our feet with our wounds to the fore, or die in the dirt like a spineless worm." Jacob retorted.

The Crusaders looked at him for that strange moment of Zen-like profundity. Some of them seemed to consider the meaning of it. Dejan just gawked, shocked at how calmly Jacob had shrugged him off.

KuHB1aM22:58, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

"Bren, you could kill me now and it wouldn't faze the Crusade out one bit. The world I... the world the Crusade envisions for itself is a world I could never be a part of; a world the Crusade, nor you, could ever expierience. alittle shout out to Serenity. If you do blow up that nuke, I must say I am dissappointed. We should have done this with words, Tenkage- not with fire."

Brengarrett23:03, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

At that on Fredricks com they hear shouting of Cusade soliders dying and shouting they they have been ambush

"Sorry but negoations are over, and let me tell you, I think some Ghouls may be pissed"Bren says and at these words Timmy and his Ghoulscome out of the Metro and run out to the open and begin finding Crusade Soliders and tear them apart, it was asite, many Ghouls both feral and non feral attacking the crusade sOliders

"It is over you lost, I have the advantage" Bren says holding his rifle to Fredricks Head but then a missle is shot and it hits the bhuilding behind Bren

"SHIT!!" Brne shouts as Rubble begins to fall and Fredrick and his Crusade Solider ran off to fight the Ghouls as for Bren he ran off to the Metro to help Timmy, he could hear the words of Fredrick as he runs,"Till we meet again Tenkage, you fool"

When Fredrick ran he wondered why Bren would veen think of alliey himself with Ghouls

Calonord23:53, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Zhang Fei heard movement in the tunnels, not knowing what it is he got his Gauss rifle at the ready. "hault, who goes there", Zhang Fei shouted to the figures on the other end of the metro in his raspy voice. "we've just been fighting the crusade" replied Bren, Zhang Fei lowered his Gauss rifle and walked up to the two figures. "I hate The Crusade" said Zhang Fei. Bren said "why don't you help us fight them then", Zhang Fei reloaded his Gauss rifle as a sign hes in with the action.

KuHB1aM23:14, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Thomas, unscathed, was dissappointed in Bren. He was willing to throw all these people away at the thought that he could rid himself of the universal enemy. The Airborne regrouped, and Thomas turned back to the disappearing Bren. "Quite the contrary, Bren; it's you who have lost." Thomas said in his final statement. With that, he returned to the battle.

It lasted three more days, with the Airborne, the standard Crusade, and the wasters duking it out for any chance at survival. Unfortunately, the EMAA and LVBoS retreated with Bren, Jacob, and Andrew, to a more secure location. Theo walked among the rubble. It was still an active war zone, but the only thing left to wage war on was the fleeing wastelanders. Theo walked by as a crusade officer ordered a firing squad, which cut down the captured wasters. Disgusting vermin. Thoe kicked over a dead ghoul. Who would ever want to protect these things? Why would all these people die just to protect a couple of lumpy-skinned freaks? Theo pushed the thought out of his mind. Those thoughts were dangerous. Theo pushed his helmet back on, and regrouped with the squad. There was still the matter of the final push.

--Cerebral plague 00:12, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Jack was on the front lines. He was jumping in and out, slashing Crusaders with the Chinese Officer's Sword he had found. He was doing everything from sniping, to ambushing troops. He was running out of ammo, so he was relying on the sword. His Chinese assault rifle had been broken, so his Repeater was the only thing he had left. His forces had numbers, but theirs had training. Currently he was trying to make a break to the sewers with him and twenty other wastelanders. The crusade was putting up a good fight, but they were arrogant assholes that for the most part thought they were invincible. He threw a grenade to 5 soldiers hiding behind cover, and rushed for the entrance. Two of his men were shot and nearly killed but for the most part they made it in there without any serious injuries.

Twentyfists00:20, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Silas had participated in the fighting. Basically, that involved him sniping Crusaders with his .50 caliber sniper, then breaking the picket line when he ran out of ammo. Silas had managed to regroup with Bren and the others after the fighting. Now, they planned their next move.

Silas looked at Bren. "Shit, boy, I coulda told you that that had a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding. O' course, you probably don't want my opinion. I got a plan, though, if you're willin' to hear it."

Run4urLife!07:04, 26 March 2009 (UTC)// Ha! KuHB1aM, second Serenity ref! I made one in the Outcasts RP. You LOSE! Again.

"I'm all ears unless you plan on attacking the Crusade with the same numbers of weaker soldiers." Jacob said. For AWA, Silas seemed downright rational. A straight-thinking AWA officer, he was a living oxymoron.

Jacob reloaded and fired a burst from Mother's Woe, killing a pair of Crusade soldiers, as the HEI ammunition tore through their armor and set anything that would burn on fire, blowing chunks out of anything else. Bullets pattered off the shield over his MR-5, and the few that made it through, simply bounced off the armor. The joys of Pre-War technology.

He pulled Eliz out of melee with a man with a ripper. She wasn't going to win this. Jacob blasted the man in the face, leaving nothing but a mangled stump where his head had been.

Brengarrett14:13, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Run4urLife!18:13, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

"Balance in all things." Jacob said. Stupid concept. Jacob preferred 'destroy that which is evil so that that which is good may thrive'. Even with the Eagles, this was a lost cause.

Bren was being stupid asking people to leave the homes they had fought so hard for their whole lives. Weak, ignorant fool, he had held the heart of the people in his grasp and he let it slip away. And he was just sitting, drinking Nuka Cola as if they could stand up, dust themselves off and try again as if nothing had happened.

Most of the Wastelanders wouldn't leave, and neither would Jacob, his place, and theirs, was here, in the Capital Wasteland. Even if that meant running Crusade blockades once in a while.

Brengarrett18:20, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
(Just emnpough time to make this comment, Run or Fniff, take over for me)

"Guys, we fight...we will beat them or dietrying, What was I thinking, reatreat....I was a fool" Bren said out loud

Fniff1 18:30, 26 March 2009 (UTC) "Hells yeah! We will stand and fight,Even if we have to sacrfice every thing we will take the capitol wastes for ourselves!" Dejan said.

Run4urLife!18:37, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren still didn't get it. If he hadn't copped on by now he never would.

"Well, looks like this is where we part ways, Bren. I'll see you on the flipside, or I'll see you in hell. Either way, it'll be under better circumstances. Bren and Dejan were going to end up walking right into battle with no one to back them up but the Claws, the Eagles, and this wanderer.

Jacob stood up, looked through the windows of their little shattered metro station, and took off, ploughing through the door and on.

This isn't the end for Jacob, he'll be back to help, but I'll leave it to you lot to figure out how to fight this war.

Fniff1 18:46, 26 March 2009 (UTC) "You go and die in a hole Jacob,But we will be the victors and you won't have anything." Dejan said.

Run4urLife!18:56, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

"Dejan, you're a blind, weak willed fool, if you think you'll win this just because Bren wants it to happen. You're outnumbered and outgunned. You're outsmarted and outmaneuvred, and you're outclassed. This will end in flames for you, and I for one will not mourn your passing." Jacob said. Every word was emphasized with great weight. The few Wastelander left with the Claws looked at each other. Jacob had shaken their resolve. Not that he cared.

He turned, and with the added speed the MR-5 granted, he was long gone before anyone said a word.

Jack was leading his small group of wastelanders across the wasteland. Ten of them had died from different sources. Two from a few roaming death claws. Four from a crusade trap. And four more from a super mutant assault on them. They were trying to retreat to rivet city to buy supplies and sell whatever they scavenged for medicine and guns. They were close by, when a enclave vertibird dropped down. Jack motioned for them to hide. Jack shot the pilot in the head, and immediately the others shot down the soldiers. They got of the armor they were wearing and ran off to Rivet City. Jack was going to pilot the vertibird to a safe hiding spot, and meet up with the others at rivet city.

Fniff1 19:25, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

"Look,I think that using the robot woun't solve anything."The guy said in the depths of the hull of rivet city. "It just dosn't work. This place will be under attack in less then 6 hours. The robot will be blown to bits by the time he comes near the city."

--Cerebral plague 19:39, 26 March 2009 (UTC)(The Enclave couldn't kill the giant 60 foot tall robot, I don't think the crusade can either)

Jack was heading back to Rivet city. His squad was waiting outside, equipped with Chinese assault rifles and combat armor. The power armor was worth more then he thought. They left the area and camped out in a few abandoned houses near there. He sent out a message to Bren's radio station. He didn't get a answer.

A man wereing power armor and an eldars robe he sat down and showed lyons a datasheet lyons read it it said by order of the council of eldars: eldar lyons is a fugitive and should be considered an enamy of the brotherhood to be shot on sight he sighed "and let me guess you want me dead"

Andrew answered "no im not a harsh man all i want is a use of the robot to kill the crusade" lyons grined "a just cause so yes you can have the robot if it can be done.Rothchild" rothchild entered the room "it could posibly be done but i dont know" lyons sighed "get back to your men if we can do it we'll be waiting outside project purity" Andrews stood up."thank you" he picked up the dataslate lyons had been wrighting on.He walked off toward rivet city

Andrew aproached rivet city and called out to the others on the deck "i got them to let us use the robot the crusade don't stand a chance."

Jacob came over the road, passing by the Jefferson memorial. He stopped dead. What the hell was with these people? Were they following him? He hadn't told them he was headed for Rivet City. And they hadn't told him they were headed to Rivet City. He wasn't wearing the MR-5 right now, so he was a little edgy walking towards them. The LVBoS Paladin waved him over. Eliz walked up to him, about to say something until he shot her that look. That fuck off or I'll kill you before you blink look.

"What?" Jacob said blankly to the Paladin. It was then explained to him about the plan, involving Liberty Prime. Jacob had watched the fireworks last time that thing had gone into battle, and it had been impressive, to put it lightly. He could understand why Dejan and Eliz were looking at him like some sort of fair weather friend, after all, he had abandoned them to their fate, and come close to killing them. But it was time to put their differences aside. He had more experience fighting the Crusade than anyone else here.

He shook Bren's hand, and walked over to the rocks that were being used as a table for the map of the battlefield. It was time to make some plans. With Liberty Prime, this lost cause candle in the wind gesture had become a battle. A winable battle.

Run4urLife!21:00, 26 March 2009 (UTC)// For once when it comes to super weapons, I agree with Vegas. And I doubt the threat would have been necessary anyway.

"Hit hard and fast. The less time the Crusade have to react, the less time they'll have to pound us from range. Close range firefights will be dangerous, its their specialty, but if we don't engage them at close range, they'll just crack us open with artillery, and maybe an air strike or two. Speed and mobility are what will make or break this battle for us." Jacob said.It was a crude skeleton to be fleshed out, but it was a sound foundation for a battleplan.

"I'll meet you at the irradiated metro station near Arlington Memorial Bridge in three hours. I want to try that MR-5 out in real battle. This is just the special occasion for that sort of formal wear." Jacob said. "The robot can't wade the river, so thet'll be where we need to cross, unless you want to walk it all the way to Arefu for the sake of hitting them from behind."

Thomas walked into the communications tent. The Dignitary in charge of radios motioned for him. "CCI Intel reports are telling us something big is going on down near the Citadel. CCI is still working on it, but they're pulling most of our troops out; they're leaving us with nothing but the airborne, our artillery support, and what defenses we have. They've already withdrawn all our standard troops; judging the way we took a beating at Capitol Hill, they're not willing to lose another thousand troops or so, and they're acting really cautious." The Dignitary said. Thomas was stumped. CCI would never prematurely withdraw troops. Even stranger, the Airborne were the most valuable; they should have left first. What was this, some sort of experiment? Were they trying to test combat capability or something? Whatever it was, CCI already knew, judging by their behavior.

Just as Zhang stabbed Perry, Jacob put a bullet in his cerebellum. As the drifter decloaked, Jacob gave him a curt nod, and turned back to the planning area. After informing the others about their little mole problem, they had to rearrange the battle plan a little. According to Zhang, Perry had managed the where, but not the when, what and how of the attack.

Then, as quick as he had come, he left. Even if Liberty Prime had issues that prevented its use, the MR-5 would come in handy. And if the robot didn't work, they'd need all the help they could get.

Jacob strode over a hill, looking up the roads that led to his meeting point, and back to Rivet City. The metaphorical fork in the road. Bren and his little crew were still outside Rivet City, and Jacob's meeting point was up a long, empty street. With a shake of his head at reading too much into things, he took off towards the others. He didn't like the idea of waiting for two hours. That was it.

This was going to be big. This would reshape the Wasteland for decades, even centuries. Sure, the Claws wouldn't be able to take the ruling power of the DC Wastes. The casualties would negate any chance they'd have of that. But breaking the Crusade's hold on the Capital Wasteland would be worth it. If they could pull this off, they could deal a blow to the Crusade that would take them years to recover from, if they recovered at all. Jacob smiled. He would bury the axe between him and the Crusade.

It would rain blood that night.

//-- Teh Krush23:37, 26 March 2009 (UTC)// I forgot, I'm the creator of the first New York Crusade settlement, so, I'm switching over for a sec, TIME FOR EPIC FIGHT OF DOOOOOM! Not really.

Micheal was stepping over dead bodies, occasionally shooting a random one once in a while to make sure it's dead. Then, all of a sudden, he had a gun to the back of his head, "..Again" he thought.

(Rewind two minutes and change POV)

Tyler was patrolling the area, walking around for about a minute and a half, when he saw a waster with a gun. So, he snuck up on this one waster and held his gun to the back of his dead, "Should I kill him, or is he really that important?" Tyler thought, but, thinking gets you killed in the wasteland. (Hehe, sorry Run, stole ur line!)

Micheal felt the gun on his head, he also felt how it wasn't loaded, how light it was, "You forgot to load your gun, dipshit." he said, and then delivered a massive elbow to the mans ribs, followed by a kick to the head, and a stomp to the knee. Tyler quickly got up, and punched Micheal's face, followed by hitting him with his laser rifle, then shooting twice, one hit. Micheal felt it but it didn't hurt, so he followed up with a flying kick to the jaw, then jamming the silencer of his infiltrator into Tyler's eye, and shooting. (Epic win.)

"Son of a bitch..." Thomas said, dropping his binoculars. In front of him, the massive Liberty Prime that had destroyed the majority of the D.C. Enclave was once again being lifted out from the Citadel by it's massive crane. "Son of a bitch." Thomas said once again, and took a deep breath. "Dignitary," Thomas said slowly, "I want every single Airborne in the entire battalion to be withdrawn to Jerusalem. Now." Thomas said. The junior officer nodded, and ran off quickly, his officer cap flying off. Even with all his fire power, Thomas couldn't possibly hope to win this one. Sure, the war on the ground was already won, but Liberty Prime would reverse several dozen years work of military expansion. Sure, if it even came near Jerusalem it would be scap metal by tomorrow, but the same could not be said for the many crusade garrisons around D.C. Thomas rubbed his forehead, and strode towards the command tent. Maybe it was time to use the launcher... teh krush's weapon... heheh... mini super nuke!

Jack had been waiting for half an hour when the armor arrived. He walked over and opened the casket and gazed at it. The thing looked intimidating, and looked strong and sturdy. He shot it with a nearby assault rifle a few times. Doesn't even make a dent, Jack thought to himself. Ok, might as well take it. Bastards probably grinning right now. Tell him it's a deal by the way. Jack went off to a secure section of the base, and put on the armor. As he walked out he scared several of the wastelanders, and one even shot at him. The bullet deflected off, and he shrugged it off like nothing. Heh, might as well fight them on myself, Jack thought.

However, they needed to get it on the first hit. If they didn't, or if the first shot was too short, well, they'd be dead in seconds. It didn't matter though. Thomas admired the thing. The ultimate weapon, it fired nothing short of a reduced yield nuke. If fired, it owould set back recovery efforts to wipe out radiation several hundred years, but so what? Thomas would be dead by then, and Liberty Prime would be scrap metal. As long as it doesn't cross the bridge...

"The cavalry has arrived! WOOHOO! FUCK! YES!" That was the only thing that could escape Strauss' mouth at the moment as he caught sight of the hulking Brotherood superweapon. It reminded him of something he'd seen on this really old Pre-War children's show holotape, but, of course, much more badass. Several questions ran through his mind: would it step on him? Could he have its bigass laser gun after this was all over? How the hell did they get this thing's help? Shit, why did he care? It was a giant robot! With bigass lasers!

"We're gonna win this, Worth!" He declared happily to his Mr. Handy companion. "We're gonna kick their asses! And the only thing that could stop us is a nuclear warhead, but hell, what are the chances of that? Hah!"

Run4urLife!14:40, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

"I wonder if the Crusade are offended by the giant robot calling them communists?" Jacob said to Strauss as they moved towards the battle behind it. They probably were, being the quintessential All-American army. Jacob laughed a little.

He fired his M72 into the Crusade lines again, the hypersonic HEI bullet found a target, and blasted a watermelon-sized hole through his chest. Jacob smiled. With the Crusade sceaming and running like ants, they were ignoring the soldiers around Liberty Prime. He couldn't help but agree with the giant robot when it declared that the probablility of failure was 0%.

Jacob fired again. He had considered bringing one of his Barret M107's, but that might have been overkill, given that it weighed about as much as a cinderblock. Of course, with the reinforced barrel, chamber and firing pin he had given it, it could probably function as a club and still be able to shoot out a mutant's eyes from a mile and a half away.

"AHH" Bren shouts (the debrie is too heavy to dig up)

Solbur17:16, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Strauss laughed profusely at Jacob's remark, nodding a few times in agreement. He wondered, though, whether the Crusade still stuck to the ideals held by the United States Army before the war, if they were now hell-bent on exterminating those of its people who looked different? Regardless, he presumed they remembered their values well enough to consider the word "communist" to be synonymous with "asswipe". And even then, there was the problem that the thing shouting it at them was a giant freakin' robot.

He noticed that the rest of the assembled fighters were doing their part to blow the shit out of the Crusade lines from a distance. He tapped a few buttons on his Pip-Boy, which gave a beep in confirmation that VATS was engaged, and folded down his helmet's eyescope, before lifting his Laser Rifle, pushing the stock against his shoulder and taking careful aim. His eye-scope provided significant zoom, enough to see three Crusaders clearly. As he looked at them, the system helpfully annotated them with a coloured outline, which eventually began to encircle their heads. Satisfied with this, he squeezed off six shots - two for each of the bastards - before flipping up his eyescope and lowering his rifle. With the spread of a laser weapon (very minimal) and a damn fine computer doing the targetting for him, he assumed they'd all hit. Three soldiers down. While he was zoomed in, he'd saw something about the size of a car that looked like some sort of artillery. He frowned beneath his helmet.

His concentrated thought was utterly broken as an explosion sounded out from behind him. He heard a distinctly womanly scream (just kidding with you :p) and immediately assumed that one of the girls had been injured, but when he looked over his shoulder, he noticed that it was Bren with his leg stuck in some debris. Sighing, he stowed his rifle and jogged over to the wounded Wastelander. One of Bren's female friends (What was her name? Alice? Ellis? Something like that) was attempting to lift some of the debris desparately to no real effect. "Shit, you alright?" He asked. It was a rhetorical question, of course, as before he got an answer he slipped his hands under a large chunk of concrete and attempted to lift it. His Power Armor's servos creaked audibly under the weight of it, and he let go of it with a grunt before the strain busted them. "Hey, uh, Jacob! Gimme a hand with this!" He shouted. Maybe this guy's Power Armor had a better capacity to exert force than his.

"Are you sure, though? You might not even survive, let alone be able to fight the Crusade..."

"Oh my god!" Strauss shouted, his voice suddenly becoming high-pitched from momentary shock and fright. Blood poured from the stump of Bren's leg. He wasted no time in tearing a large piece of fabric from the Claws' leader's duster coat. "Worth, rinse the wound, quickly! We don't know how clean that Ripper was!" The robot quickly obliged, and began pouring water from its condensation collector over what was once Bren's full leg for a moment, soaking the Loner a bit in the process. Worth then gave the strip of fabric he'd ripped off Bren's coat a quick wash, at which point Strauss broke into a run alongside the Claws. "We need to find cover soon so I can bandage him up! Shit, it's pouring out, man!"

Jacob impaled a Crusade Templar on a piece of rebar he had pulled from the rubble, and used the unfortunate man as a projectile as he launched him into his squadmates, scattering them as they dived for cover, one of them, probably a veteran of Fairfax, huddled on the ground in a foetal position at the sight of a suit of MR power armor.

He followed the others as they rushed back to the cover of a nearby building. It was a shattered shell of a place, but it was open around the entrances, with a lot of cover concentrated at the centre. Given enough ammunition, a platoon could hold off an army from this spot, as the reinforced concrete roof prevented the use of artillery and air strikes.

Jacob immediately gathered some splintered wood and got to making a fire, dumping vodka, scotch and a little balma over the flames, as he heated a sheet of steel he had just pulled from the car they were lying against. Ignoring the protests of the others, and Bren's screams, he pressed the red-hot metal to Bren's leg, cauterizing the wound, albeit crudely.

the shockwave nocked Andrew's of his feet and cracked open Smiths power armor and the man colapesed. "jesus what was that thing." a judicator ran over "giger counters showing minimun sir it wasn't a nuke just some kind of Fuel air bomb with a radioactive core would't have wanted to be in the blast though" marcus pulled himself up "target that launcher imediatly liberty prime anialate them" in its boming voice the robot called out "'comunism shall fail

The Team ran like hell. They got into a nearby metro and rested.

KuHB1aM20:25, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Time to destroy the world of Fallout Canon with a simple edit of this page.

The robot grew closer as it moved towards the bridge, several miles away. "Fire this thing, Dignitary. Let's see how well Mr. Prime over there reacts to the "communist" super weapon." The word inflamed Thomas. He called us asswipes!!! The Dignitary hesitated. "Fire that nuke, Dignitary." Thomas said, commandingly. The junior officer complied, and punched the button, as the massive launcher fired it's cargo off into the distance. Thomas fell into his chair. What had he just done?

"He called us asswipes!!!" Theo roared, and fired his G36C. His platoon was the last to withdraw across the bridge. All the other airborne had withdrawn when the order had been that the "Package" was ready. Theo dropped his emptied clip, and stopped to gaze as the massive flying object flew over him, straight towards liberty prime. "Fuck..." Theo said." As his eyes gazed upon the nuke, Liberty Prime swung into action. It's ordnance depleted and it's lasers overheated, it attempted to grab the nuke and swing it onto a reverse trajectory. It failed. "Shit!!!" Captain Cobb said. Theo just watched both nuke and robot, and then saw Liberty Prime swing it's hand onto the nuke and slap it slightly to the side, so that it hit a building not more than a few yards away. Then a blazing light engulfed Theo's vision, and it was the last thing he ever saw.

I think I got the three hundredth kill, Jack thought to himself. The crusade was advancing, and he was running out of 44. ammunition for his gun. He switched to his assault rifle and started firing off into the large groups. The crusade was advancing, and he started to run away. He rigged the vertibird he flew into here from and ran to the nearest cover. The nukes in it would go boom, killing the first person to turn on the thing. He was at least three hundred feet away, when it went off, he was far enough that the radiation didn't even affect him. That's three hundred and fifty, more or less. He walked off, looking for wherever the hell the rest of the group was. He then looked to the east, seeing the gigantic ball of fire erupt, he could feel the radiation from here, even though he was a few miles away. He started running away from the area. He might even be dead from the radiation.

Solbur20:48, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

A deafening - in fact, almost literally - roar came from the surface. The ceiling of the Metro station was raining dust, and indeed, seemed to be crumbling. Strauss stood up. Had the Crusade used their artillery weapon? Whatever it was, it was certainly powerful... too powerful to be conventional. He was feeling a bit woozy suddenly - probably witnessing Bren saw his leg off catching up to his stomach, he thought. Then he noticed his Pip-Boy's geiger counter clicking away. "Oh... oh shit! They used a nuke! Damnit, they used a freakin' nuke!" He shouted to the rest of the group. He cursed himself silently for tempting fate earlier. Turns out, the only thing that could stop them was a nuclear warhead. "Come on, guys, on your feet! We need to get further into the metro, to another part of D.C., else we're all fucked!" The group was riled suddenly, a few of them nodding in agreement, with the Glowing Ghoul (Teddy or whatever his name was) seeming vaguely disappointed at having to leave so soon. Worthington seemed to have hit the ground, all of his systems offline; Strauss worriedly picked him up and strapped him to his back by three of his arms. It was a good thing they'd packed his storage unit light for all of this. He had once heard something about nukes generated electromagnetic pulses on detonation which fried circuitry - he was lucky his Power Armor was shielded from that.

He pulled out a jar of Rad-X, opened it and took a handful of pills, before swallowing them and passing it around the group, who repeated the process. There was no way to get them to the unconscious Bren without choking him - they were pills, after all - they had to move quickly to stop him suffering radiation poisoning. So they did, descending deeper into the Metro, heavy breathing and a geiger counter punctuating their journey.

Vegas adict20:49, 27 March 2009 (UTC)// it might take more than that

The nuke exploded and in 1 quick blast liberty prime fell to its knees "I am not defeated liberty will pervail" andrew and his BOS troups were nocked down.He looked at his giger counter 1000 rads and counting it was all over for him nearby jacob groaned "did we win" andrew nodded "i think so" and they both fell unconsious

i will be using lyons again for a bit

Eldar lyons in his radiation suit walked towards the kneeling liberty prime "can it be repaired rothchild" rothchild looked the robot over "it seems to have taken no structual damage but the EMP pulse has wiped its AI given a day or 2 i could upload are modified AI" lyons smiled it wasnt all over for the old gal yet "peabody what about human survivors" peabody grimaced dosn't look good sir hang on over heer it looks like theres a group of about 6 who are still alive unconsious but alive got another one over by the buildings too" lyons grimaced 7 alive not good but beter than expected "what were there names.Take them back to the citidel" rothchild looked over the survivers "yes sir we'll take them to the citidel. As for the names looks like its your daughter,Andrews,A man in oucast armor,a merc(the ghoul would have got a rush from the bomb like taking drugs) and the other is a vigilantie"

The team moved back to the citidel

Fniff1 20:51, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

"Jesus christ! Why the hell would they use a nuke?" Dejan asked as they went down the metro.

Solbur21:00, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

"Oh, gee, I dunno, what would you do against a giant freakin' robot?" Strauss asked sarcastically, his voice, although disorted by his helmet's vocoder, still audibly thick with worry and panic. All of his thoughts were on Worth. Would his machinery be functional again? Or more importantly, what would have happened to his AI? He couldn't stop now, so he'd have to check later, but in all honesty, he just didn't know what he'd do without Worthington. He yanked his mind away from his robotic friend, although the weight of his chassis bore down on him constantly, and tried to focus on the task at hand - running until the Geiger counter stopped ticking.

Brengarrett21:02, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren's Rad level was rising badly, he was already in the mid 900 (Ghoul Blood people_ the wound on his leg made iot so radation went directly into the blood so Radation increase like 1, is like 20 ads a second for him

--Cerebral plague 21:06, 27 March 2009 (UTC)(Why the hell isn't Bren dead or ghoulified yet?)

Jack had been running away from the blast zone. First, he would find some rad away. Second, he would go collect his reward and get the fuck out of this shithole. Maybe go east, he heard Boston wasn't directly hit by the nuke. Perhaps he would go west, his Brother had went to California, and it couldn't be that hard to get some enclave power Armour and another vertibird. He was walking when he noticed a crusade sniper aiming at him, and two others trying to surround him. He shot the first two, and the sniper he quickly ran from cover to cover until he got close enough. He took out his combat knife and jumped at him, soon he was lying on the ground. Now what should I do with you, Jack grumbled.

Brengarrett21:08, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
(since the radation went into his blood, he gained the perk Ghoul Blood, so he is imnune to radation)
Solbur21:10, 27 March 2009 (UTC)// Use the talk page for announcements like that, Bren. And we don't know that yet, so here we go

The Loner giving a struggling groan as they ran reminded Strauss of something - there was a guy with no leg and no radiation medication on the man's back! Hastily, he stuck his hand into his bag and pulled out a syringe loaded with opaque orange fluid. "Loner guy, here's some Rad-Away," he said, tossing it to the Claws' sniper as they moved. "Pump Bren full of it if you can. He'll need it by now."

Fniff1 21:14, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

"OK Bren, Lets roll up that leg-- OH JESUS CHRIST!!!" Dejan screamed. The remnants of Bren's leg was ghoul like. It was so disgusting it made Dejan throw up.

Brengarrett21:15, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
(my bad, but it's my character so Iwant to have ghoul blood, I'm not a ghoul but I'm not dead)

Bren was going into shock, and he was running a High Fever

Medic: Damn it, he is going into Shock, someone get Stimpacks....

Bren's eyes open and he looks around

"" He moans as the fever begins to make his view fuzzy

Fniff1 21:18, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren fainted. "OK....I think he's suffering the effects of ghoulacasion, Only his skin is still on." Dejan said.

Solbur21:24, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

"Didn't realise ghoulification was so selective!" Strauss remarked, followed by a nervous chuckle. That was his attempt of a joke to lighten the mood, but it didn't really do anything towards that. He handed Paul (he's the Claws' medic, right?} five Stimpaks. "Here, use however many you need on him." The medic gave Strauss an odd look as he realised that this was all the Power Armored Wastelander had on him. "Trust me, I don't need them. I'll manage." He assured him, although it was more to reassure himself. Bren, however, wouldn't manage without treatment.

--Cerebral plague 21:31, 27 March 2009 (UTC)(No, according to Bren if all your blood is irradiated your skin still looks peachy, I don't understand you guys. I really do think that you either have being a ghoul, or a regular human. Not just both of each.)

Jack had hanged his captive to a tree. He was far enough up that he couldn't touch the ground, but high enough so a mole rat, dog, or Yao gai could easily maw his head off. He walked away, as he noticed a group of raiders approaching the tied up crusader. He entered the metro a few minutes later, and was walking down when he saw a group of people.

Fniff1 21:32, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

While Paul was injecting the skimpacks, Dejan tried to make a shrine out of random things. Usually his village would use wood but now he had to imper vise. He stitched together a shrine that meant back and his village the symbol of hope and justice,The vault 13 symbol.

Brengarrett21:35, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
(the Blood is ghoul like, as for his Skin he has a bit of a darkr tone, not falling of but it isn't peachy)

Bren moan as he stabilizes, but his Rad level is off the charts, this surprises everyone

Fniff1 21:38, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

"Man,You look....Darker....Any way I made a thing for you if you awoke." Dejan gave him the 13.

Brengarrett21:41, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren's eyes open and it startles everyone

"I feel....weird" Brens ays, his voice also got a bit of a gravelly tone and he loks at hisl eg which is now looking ghoul like

"Damn...hey what happened to my voice?" Bren asks

Fniff1 21:44, 27 March 2009 (UTC) "I know,Radiation got your voice box, You talk like a ghoul now." Said Dejan. "Here's a shrine I made,Sorry if it's a bit rushed." He showed him the 13 symbol.

Brengarrett21:46, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Bren smiles as looks at it, then Eliz grabs him and hugs him

"I't's ok Eliz, I'm ok" Bren says to her

Jason: I'm glad you are ok

Bren: Hey sam, could you make me something to replace my leg?

Solbur21:48, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

The geiger counter was clicking a lot slower now, which was a sign of only miniscule levels of radiation which could be resisted easily with a dosage of Rad-X (and partial ghoulification). They'd made it down deep enough to avoid painful death, but there was still the problem of finding a way back to the surface when they'd just went blindly downwards to escape the radiation. He sighed, looking at the injured Claws leader. What were they gonna do about his leg? He could hardly lead his valiant warriors into battle on crutches. Bren had asked something to the team's mechanic, but Strauss felt the need to interject. "Power Armor servos are designed to mimic human motion. I could do some demostrations for your tekkie and we could whip up a prosthesis." He told Bren.

He frowned and looked towards a nearby, otherwise ignored set of stairs as he heard footsteps coming down it. He could just about see the shape of a man through the darkness, so he turned on the flashlight on the top of his T-4x helmet to get a better look at him. (that's you, Plague) "Uh, hey. Hope you're not planning on heading that way, unless you have the luck of our friend Tenkage." He called out to the man, while gesturing to the direction the group had came down from.

Run4urLife!21:50, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

"You look like hell man, what's up?" Jacob said apprehensively. Killing someone was different to watching them die slowly and painfuly, and the MR-5's geiger counters had shown a huge dose. By rights, Bren and the other unprotected people, well, given that they were all in cover at the time, just Bren, should be covered in sores, and suffering total and comprehensve organ failure. This was not right.

Jacob didn't wait for an answer. He stood up, and indicated down the tunnel. The others didn't have an MR-5 to turn the darkness to light, but they heard the ferals, screaming as they charged up the tunnels, attracted by the radiation. Jacob looked down a vacant tunnel, and indicated that the group should take that route. Even between himself, Jack and Wrthington, they couldn't take an army of ferals. Not in these close confines.

Vegas adict21:52, 27 March 2009 (UTC)// sory run i thought he was still in the open,Im just going to use lyons for this bit as well as andrew just until they find bren ectra

Lyons laughed "steady lad you might be able to get up but i'd be carefull" marcus stood up shakeily "wheres bren and vaughton and prime" lyons grimaced "bren and co are in the metro somewhere you can go out on the next scout trip.Prime is ok and rothchild tells me that he should be back up and running in about 5 days." marcus walked out of the room

inside the metro

Andrews and his squad made there way down into the metro up ahead was a group of figures "bren is that you"
